By signing below, I confirm that I have read and agree to the following terms for my website project with Elevate with Liz
Project Scope
The work included in the project is set out in the proposal provided and agreed before booking.
Any additional pages, functionality, design work or requests outside that agreed scope may be quoted separately or charged at the current hourly rate.
Payment
Website projects are normally split into three payments:
50% booking payment — due when booking and required to secure the project slot.
25% design payment — due when the first website design is presented and before the refinement stage begins.
25% final payment — due following final approval and before the website is launched or transferred.
Payments are made by bank transfer using the details provided at each stage.
Work will not move on to the next stage until the relevant payment has been received.
Revisions
Reasonable design revisions are included during the build phase, usually three rounds. Feedback should be provided as a single consolidated list for each revision round. Additional revisions or requests outside the agreed scope may be billed at the designer’s hourly rate.Client Content
The client is responsible for supplying the copy, images, logos, brand assets and other content required for the website unless otherwise included within the agreed scope.
Content should be supplied by the agreed deadline. Significant delays may affect the project schedule and, where necessary, the project may be moved to the next available slot.
Revisions
The number of revision rounds included will be stated in the project proposal.
Feedback should be provided as one consolidated list for each revision round and, where more than one person is involved in approving the website, feedback should be agreed internally before being submitted.
Additional revisions, significant changes of direction or requests outside the agreed scope may be charged separately at the current hourly rate.
Timings
Any project dates given are based on the client supplying content, feedback, approvals and access when requested.
Delays in receiving these may result in the completion or launch date changing.
Final Approval
The client is responsible for checking the website carefully before approving it for launch, including copy, spelling, contact details, pricing, links and other factual information.
Once final approval has been given, any further changes may be treated as additional work.
Legal & Regulatory Requirements
The client is responsible for ensuring that their business, website content and any legal policies or regulatory requirements comply with the laws, regulations and professional requirements relevant to their business.
Elevate with Liz does not provide legal, tax or regulatory advice.Where the website uses third-party services such as Squarespace, domain providers, booking systems, email marketing platforms, payment processors, fonts, plugins or other integrations, any ongoing subscriptions or charges are the client's responsibility unless specifically agreed otherwise.
Elevate with Liz cannot guarantee the continued availability or performance of services provided by third parties.
Ownership
Once the project has been paid for in full, the client owns the final website design and content created specifically for their project, excluding any third-party assets, licensed materials, software or tools subject to their own terms.
Elevate with Liz retains the right to showcase the completed project in its portfolio, website, social media and marketing unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Project Inactivity
If the client becomes unresponsive or the project cannot progress for more than 30 days due to missing content, feedback or approval, the project may be considered inactive.
Restarting an inactive project may be subject to availability and an additional restart fee.
Liability
Elevate with Liz will take reasonable care in designing, building and testing the website but cannot be held responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the website, third-party services, downtime or client-supplied content.
The client remains responsible for checking and approving the website before launch.
Cancellation
The booking payment reserves time in the project schedule and work may begin before the main website build starts, including planning, research and project preparation.
If the client decides to cancel after booking, fees for work already completed and time already reserved may still be payable in accordance with the project proposal and applicable law.
By signing below, I confirm that I accept these terms and the scope and fees set out in my project proposal.

Next Liz will book time in the diary, and let you know the start date. Please gather all your website assets (Photos, Videos, Copy etc.) as this will be needed very soon.
-
Liz will let you know your start date.
-
It is important that you are able to supply content when required and in a timely manner to avoid holding up your website build and affecting the timeline. If you need help with copy please let Liz know this upfront, as this is outside of the scope of work and will incur an additional fee, and will need to be built into the timeline.
Photos, videos and copy will need to be uploaded to the client portal.
